White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shiner than Pearls was named for the lustre that encompasses her entire body. She was an only hatchling, she had no siblings, but Pearl took to dragonsitting very quickly. She loves taking care of hatchlings. She makes up games to play with them, and reads them stories, and protects them from the scary monsters under their cave. She also likes to teach them. Her favorite thing to teach hatchlings is flying. She lets them try to glide out of their cave on their own for the first time. Should one of them fall, Pearl swoops down like a flash of lighting and catches them, caressing their small body in her large, soft, feathery wing. When Uno came to the cave, devastated by the loss of his family, she took care of him and treated him like a brother. After a while, it became apparent that he loved her in a different way than that. Since then, Pearl and Uno are exclusive mates.
