Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Hero" in Japanese, since he is Sazanami's "Knight in Shining Armor". They've loved each other since they were little, and he often sat by the waters edge as she swam. She taught him how to swim, although he doesn't particularly like going in the deep water, he loves to stay in the shallows with her. After a wonderful courtship, during which he got her father and brother's permission, they became mates on a beautiful sunny day. He's very lovable and cuddly, but he's also VERY ticklish. It takes a lot to get him mad, and even then, it doesn't last long. He was raised by Aiko and Hotaro, and is their first adopted child. He loves his parents very much, and loves to go flying with them. He's also best friends with Tenryu, Sora, and Sazanami's brother Mizuru. Most of all though, he loves Sazanami, his beautiful princess. They look forward to spending eternity together, madly in love beyond the end of all time.
