Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Damned from birth by the particular trait of bearing sickness in his wake, this dragon has never played 'nice' with the other dragons. Sickened in body, from birth, he has always been weaker than other dragons, and so was shunned by healthier hatchlings. Sickened in mind by the dark forces that attended him from infancy, he has never complained of being outcast, but rather revels in time alone to fester in his dark thoughts.

As he grew older he chose the name Lord Pestilence for himself, fancying himself to be akin to one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Wherever he went, sickness, plague and death followed in his wake like a loyal puppy.

He is an omen of ill luck, and lives in an outlying cave no other knows about, deep in the mountains. Deep in the darkness. He festers there and awaits the end of all days.
