Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jaxis firmly believes in IDIC (infinite diversity in infinite combinations) or, if she's not discussing her philosophy with the white Stripes or Magis, "everyone's different."

While this might sound obvious to some or even a bit trite, Jaxis has completely encompassed the deeper, true meaning of this into herself. Everyone is different, and different doesn't necessarily mean "wrong". While she has her own opinions, ideas, and taste and stands firmly by them, she never disregards another person's, even if they disagree. So while she can be found arguing with her clan mates for hours about things, she never treats them with anything but respect and therefore is highly respected in return. Even if she does believe that the world is but a game played by a group of humans in a futuristic world.
