Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Tannenbaum and Holy were found during the Winter of Wishes, alongside a number of other wild-born holiday dragons. As the first, and only, wild-born Yulebucks at the Breedery, the two got a lot of attention as hatchlings. Maybe not quite as much as the nigh-legendary Hollies, or the spectacular Solstice sisters, but more than enough to go to any young creature's head.

By some miracle, despite this, Tannenbaum remains a gentle, humble personality as an adult. He is close friends with Glittering; thanks to spending so much time in the Wrappingwing's kitchen, Tannenbaum always smells faintly of sweet kitchen spices like clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg. He and his brother Holy now draw an enchanted sled for Lurhstaap when he goes hunting for dragon eggs in the winter. Other dragons love watching for the group as it sails magically through the chilly sky, and consider it lucky to catch a glimpse of the two Yulebucks as they ferry their master and his newly caught eggs home to the Breedery.
