Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Morgana Darkfang is a young vampire hatchling. She was bitten by Addams about the same time that Lancelot was bitten, and both vampires were protected by Monroe and Addams when the other dragons sought to remove them from the cave.

Morgana is a small, delicate, and sweet vampire. She's very shy and doesn't tend to speak a lot except to Lancelot. She's always helping him out of trouble of some sort or another. The two young vampires are inseparable, and both would rather die than see the other harmed.

No one is sure why, but Morgana has been plagued with strange sicknesses that have come and gone relentlessly since her birth. Some say Addams corrupted her blood when he bit her. No one's sure what Addams thinks about this rumor, but he is always the first to summon Olivia Tatiana, the designated physician of the Vampires, when Morgana is feeling ill and he stays with Morgana at her bedside until whatever plagues her decides to leave her weak body.
