Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

BlackBadNight is a Black Dragon with a tough life. He has terrible, terrible luck; if something can go badly, having BlackBadNight around seems to ensure it will. He jokes, it always rains on him, no matter where he goes. This isn't exactly true, but it does seem to storm more often when BlackBadNight is around. BlackBadNight is a gambler, and spends much of his days and nights at home playing Dragon Dice. He tends to lose all his gold and treasure, then goes out to find more—well, steal more. Somehow, BlackBadNight seems to sometimes create bad luck for others, which helps him rob other dragons of their loot. He's been caught 9 times out of 10, but on that 10th time he often gets away with tons (literally) of hoarded gold.
