Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ignato, his name a derivative of one meaning 'flame-colored', is a vivid orange dragon with bright sky blue eyes. He has bright frills along his neck and tail. Ignato is the third dragon of the fourth clutch, a surprise amongst all the Christmas eggs, and grew up with the fellow Christmas dragons. He often feels as though he is a Christmas dragon, but he realizes every time that he was born a Magi dragon. Ignato is a powerful magic user, excelling at the control of magic fire, as his name suggests. He has very good control over his magic, although if he is frightened or angered, some of this control will be lost, and he often looses powerful magical attacks on accident when his emotions are at their extreme. Ignato would rather not fight, although he does enjoy hunting wild game in the nearby forests. He is rather calm and collected, and he tries his best to not let his emotions control him, although they often do. Ignato is also very intelligent and loves to learn anything new.
