Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Amplish is a wannabe. That pretty much sums him up. He always seems to talk about how awesome he is, constantly overestimating himself up to the maximum. But in the end, he is always lesser in a ability, but every time he tries to make something up to make it seem like he's still better. He especially likes to find all the ways he is better at something than someone else. His vanity is known by almost every Uncita dragon, proving him a liar. The more aggressive and violent dragons even nicknamed him: "That Dragon That Just Won't Shut Up". However, the hatchlings and a couple prankster dragons tend to find him funny. That is how Amplish managed to make friends in the first place. At least no dragon has gotten so annoyed of him that they didn't try to...to put it in the simplest form, at least they didn't try to kill him.
