Lightning Pygmies are well-known as rumors but rarely seen. An ill-mannered breed, their confidence comes from the tremendous energy that they absorb from natural lightning bolts. They hunt in the middle of storms, reaching high speeds, and with the help of lightning magic they go after prey like a lightning bolt.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

He has high aspirations of his mother, and it's obvious he has put a lot of time and effort into mimicking her, right down to the spitfire way she insults others. But it is also apparent that Goose is somewhat lost in his mother's shadow. Having spent so much time trying to be like her, he never really put time into being himself. This results in a disjointed, little dragon with a strange identity crisis. His father, Dawn, has certainly recognized it, though he doesn't seem to know how to mend it. So, Goose is kind of stuck...
