Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Obidar are a curious and shy variety of Xenowyrm that make their home in forests. Their bark-like scales, the polypores clinging to their bodies, and the vibrant foliage growing from them act as natural camouflage. Their desire to investigate travelers in their domain leads them to often sneak unseen near or slightly into camps at night. If spotted, they are shy but friendly, and many that wander the woods are grateful for the watchful protection of these gentle Wyrms.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Friendly and curious, Bryn is fairly open to others and is a pleasant dragon to be around. She has been known to protect those that can't protect themselves, swooping in whenever she spots somebody being unfairly treated or bullied. Despite her friendly demeanor, she can be quite threatening, possessing incredible strength both physically and magically. She doesn't tend to actually use this power, however. Instead, she'd rather avoid violence as much as possible, so she'll mainly just look intimidating to scared threats away. Bryn does not care for fighting or generally nasty behavior. For this reason, she gravitates toward kind, quiet, and careful individuals and avoids more loud-mouthed, impatient ones. She watches others very carefully to determine if these traits are present or not, lurking in dense foliage and moving silently to evade detection. She may occasionally be taken by surprise by particularly eagle-eyed viewers, in which case, she acts pretty awkward.
