Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

There sits a bard by the entrance of the Cave, strumming away all day at his strings. The surface he leans on from morning til night is no rock or regular tree, but the gleaming arm of the Lustrous Lady Lassard. The Lustrous Lady saved him one day from a town displeased by his teasing refrains, and refuses to allow the other dragons to drive him away. Her fellow reptiles try to pry her from the human's side- there are dragons with voices more beautiful than this man's, and potential mates to boot. Determined to remain unswayed, Lassard claims that the bard's songs soothe her after a hard day, and his praise of her hide doesn't hurt either. To satisfy the antsy dragons, the Lustrous Lady has agreed that if a male is presented to her whose songs she likes better, she will free the bard and take such a dragon for a mate. As of yet, no suitors of sufficient skill have appeared.
