Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Ever since her father pulled the outrageous stunt of turning a lollipop into a living organisim, all of his children and grandchildren take on the name "Magical". Destiny has been hunted by humans ever since she matured into an adult, and often must hide from them. In the safety of her own home, she doesn't have to worry about them much because her mate made a large shield to protect her in their cave. Destiny cares much about her hatchlings and always will put up a fight (if needed) to protect them. Many say it is because of her mother (a water dragon, Destiny has a taste for seafood. Fish of any kind is often seen inside their cave.
