Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

NightMark once was loved by another. It was an amazing feeling, but like most, it was not last. Polymorphed into human form, she fell in love with Trent, a human boy. His green eyes and black hair combined with his poetic and emotional personality mesmerized her. It seemed it would last forever, but it was not to be. She new she had to leave him, but he looked at her and said that the worst part of his life is not that he needs her more each day, but that he knows she doesn't need him at all. Her feelings came back to her and she knew that he was the one for her... However, when the villagers and Trent found out she was a dragon, she fled. Her beloved followed her, but blinded by unknown emotions, NightMark tore out his heart. That night she wept with his cold, lifeless body in her hands, wishing she could die aswell.
