Despite their great size and strength, Celestial Dragons are a peaceful breed named for their spectral, starry appearance. Little else is known about them, as they spend the vast majority of their lives partially phased out of the plane of existence through the use of powerful magic. Celestial Dragons are thought to assume their corporeal form only long enough to reproduce or to die; the rest of the time, they resemble living, breathing constellations, impervious to all physical and magical harm.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tsukoyomi is a quiet dragon, preferring to spend her time hidden. Her enclosure is a small cave hidden well within the forest. She'll only come out when needed or if it's feeding time. Tsukoyomi is also very shy, often running off when she encounters new people. Her owner ensures that she has her privacy, having cast a spell to keep her enclosure hidden. Tsukoyomi enjoys swimming and she uses the lake beside her home to her advantage.
