Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name and origin is unknown, only arriving at the front of the cave one snowy night as an egg. The other dragons took her in and began to care and tend to the egg, treating it with as much warmth and love as the other eggs of their kind. The egg hatched into a hatchling, and then matured, growing to be a very charitable and giving dragon due to her tender and gentle upbringing. She will easily give anyone anything should they ask nicely, and insist on no returns for her favors. Sometimes she comes and goes, but every winter she always reappears at the cave, with a horde of presents and gifts to give the dragons she calls her parents.
