Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. The second fastest dragon in the clan, Cloud is the one to call for a race. Since very few hatchlings have hatched, Cloud has been racing anyone she pleases. Normally, if there were hatchlings around, she would teach them to run and 'trot on the wind'. Kind and playful, she is the most loved in the clan. Unlike the other dragons, she rarely uses magic and is a omnivore with more of a appetite for plants. Lately, Clan leader Night Artemis has been nagging her about her three egglings, which is one too many. Two of them have EarthSilver as the father, so Artemis always watches her and always keeps those two apart.

Cloud does not care for the Light-Dark war and stays out of it, even if she is whiplashed by the attacks.
