Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

No one knew why, but bright pink dragons were suddenly harder to come across these days. Save was the only member of her species her age in the family. She had her sisters and mother, but they were much older then her and had little time to play.

Save retreated to her own private spot in the woods, where she could sulk in peace. It wasn't that she didnt get on with the other dragons, but it would be nice to be able talk with another of her own kind. Sighing, she laid her head down on the moss, wrapping her tail and wings around her body. Just as she was starting to fall asleep, something bounced off her nose and startled her. Rearing up with her wings spread, she saw a young human boy looking up at her in horror, a ball rolling to his feet.

As she looked down her nose at him, the boy stuttered an apology, explaining he had come into the woods to play, as there were no other boys in the village his age.

Picking up the ball, Save leaned closer to the youth. "Can I play" she asked him.
