Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As soon as she was summoned to the Elders main chamber she guessed there was something wrong. She never guessed that what was wrong was her! Apparently she was too shy, too weak, she was just too soft. She had failed the initiation tests to become a full fledged dragon and had only recieved her name because the Elders pitied her. The nerve! She didn't need to be strong to defend herself or others, she could out wit them instead. Indeed it seemed she was too clever for her own good and had been sent from many teachings for talking back and making rude comments. She would show them, all of them, the whole pack of single minded, bird brained, irritating dragons. She would prove that strength was not entirely nessesary, and that brain power was just as vital. She could talk herself out of any situation she found herself in, no matter how dire.
