Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Wavez has a peaceful personality and loves to be by lakes, rivers or streams. He lives on Mount Aero by the river that flows from its peak to to the sea, with his partner Tendras. Being nocturnal when required to hunt, Wavez will use the night to his advantage. However he only hunts during the Winter as during the Summer there are many plants that he can eat, and in Winter they all die off forcing him to hunt. Wavez can control water to a certain degree, improving as he ages, he uses this power to help construct his den, using the water as a safety precaution, and he can use it to catch fish. (The wave marks on his legs glow when he uses this power). On top of this, instead of breathing fire, Wavez has Ice breath which enables him to freeze any enemies. Wavez is a skilled flyer and is able to fly for almost two weeks without stopping if needed, however, it causes great fatigue and he needs to rest for a while afterwards.
