Blusang Lindwyrms are quite different from most dragons in that they lack hind legs. In this regard, they resemble snakes, and this is evident in their movement; these lindwyrms slither along the ground, using their forelegs to lift them over rougher terrain. Blusangs are a coastal breed, preferring to live along rocky beaches and in seaside caves rather than sandy locations. They are omnivores who graze on seaweed from time to time, although their primary form of sustenance is fish.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Mother of sea monsters and gods, according to one set of myths, though this is of course exaggeration. In truth, Tiamat is simply an old and powerful dragon, though she does have a strange and beautiful enigma to her. She knows many things, and does not share them or teach them. She also gives birth readily and freely but does not keep or rear the young. Many of her brood drift off into the currents of the ocean, knowing nothing but the cruel whimsy of the briny sea. She is not, herself, cruel though. In her mind, this is an education for her children, a lesson that the world is a cruel place, and that it can devour the unready and the weak. So it is that some of her children do not survive-- and those that do often do so in a state that is, put gently, unkind. It is unwise to keep a child of Tiamat in your home, for it is said that always she knows where they are, and will someday come to claim them and all they hold dear, returning them to the embrace of the sea that bore them.
