Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ariele Drakosha II's exotic-sounding name betrays her true personality behind the appearance of a mild and withheld dragon. Although, to most dragons, Ariele Drakosha is nothing usual: a mild, shy dragon who keeps to herself, that is only the surface of her personality. If one gets to know her, they will soon get glimpses of her exotic inner self, her real self that she doesn't show to most of the dragons in her clan. Deep down, Ariele is quite the dragon—she loves to ribbon dance and keep collections of tropical seashells and stones. She even wishes to travel the world someday—not exactly an impossible thing, as she often says, since she dwells in water and can swim through the world's waterways. In fact, she is training to do just such a thing,  swimming across her lagoon back and forth every day. Her ultimate dream is to visit the world's different dragon cultures, in faraway lands across the ocean, but for now she can only gaze at the horizon above the sea from her lagoon.
