A mystery is Chickey-chick the small white hen who wanders Ashke'hai. Some say she once belonged to one of the Riders and rather than be sent to the kitchen to be plucked and cooked, she became his pet. She makes her nest above the warm heated rocks of the nesting grounds high above the dragons just in case they should get hungry while guarding a clutch.
