Found along the coast and in nests high above the ground, Mistra Dragons are respected for their gentle nature. They are known to adopt any abandoned eggs or hatchlings that they find and raise them as their own, singing softly to lull their young into a deep sleep. As a result of their close relationships with their families, Mistra Dragons tend to live in large, close groups. They use their large numbers to their advantage for many things, including putting on shows (of sorts) and frightening predators away from their nests.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A small but dependable Mistra, despite her size and relatively young age, Minuet is the most maternal in her family. She cares deeply for her siblings and many cousins and seeks to comfort them in times of extreme stress. She does this through her calming and melodious songs. She's especially good at lulling others to sleep when they otherwise have trouble. Her soothing melodies can send even the most restless into the deepest slumber. She uses this ability not only on troubled insomniacs but also prey and foes. She's an efficient hunter and brings home the majority of the food. Though kind and exceptionally caring, Minuet is also rather strict and protective. While she usually withholds judgement of others, she gets easily suspicious and snappy around those she doesn't trust. If someone is acting strangely around her or she detects some foulness about them, she's quick to change her demeanor and stalk them mercilessly until she's sure whether or not they're a threat.
