Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!

When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Fontayne, which means fountain or water source in French, is a dragon who's rather full of himself. He considers Shifrah—a very eligible pink dragon—to be his mate for life, even though she won't go near him. He pretends to like the hatchlings when she's around. But really, he thinks they're too immature and they should "grow up already". As soon as Shifrah's out of sight he'll chase the hatchlings out of his pond. Altah, a male grey dragon, knows what Fontayne is trying to do and gets in his way whenever he can. This interferes strongly with the harmony in the cave.
