As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Yoru Eiko, meaning Night Glory, is a proud, but shy dragon, who takes great pride in her love for the darkness. If it was up to Yoru, the night would last forever and she would be pronounced queen of darkness. Even though she is obsessed with the darkness she is a hard worker, and very nice, after other's get to know her. With her shyness, though, people and dragons often find her a little too creepy to approach and often leave her be not that she really minds.
