Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts summer weather.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
A small, sleepy sample of a dragon, this one lends a great deal of support to the reason that the hottest times of summer are known as its dog days. Too warm and drowsy to move, she'll crawl off into the shade near a pack of wild mutts or some other similar, friendly feral breed, only moving when the shadows leave--and then just to cling on to one of her 'pack mates' so that she can be carried to a cooler destination without doing the tiresome walking herself.
