Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A member of the Depravity clan, Blood Painter is a truly depraved dragon, full of arrogance and delusions. Her greatest nightmare is that the tinkling ribbons that grow out of her back and tail will fade.  The Ribbon Dancer takes great pride in her ribbon scales and dyes them with blood. She then seals it with magic to ensure the bloodstains will always stay fresh and the bright crimson will never fade along with the distinctive smell.

To the Keepers' annoyance, Blood Painter has taken Kedav Lash and their son, Avra has her newest playthings, caressing them with the ribbons that fan out of her tail.

The Keepers tolerate it since it means a constant supply of black eggs and with it, rare black dragons.

Meanwhile, she has convinced Scarlet that Kedav Lash forces her to breed against her will. Their numerous battles has been entertaining and most of all, Blood Painter and her harem sisters enjoys seeing the arrogant Scarlet get taken down several pegs.
