Soulstone Dragons are deeply empathic creatures. The pearls which they carry with them from a very young age are deeply attuned to the emotions of those around them, glowing in accordance with the strength and sincerity of the bonds individuals share with one another. Soulstone dragons have the ability to show that, even in the heat of a vicious feud, the love that friends, family, and partners share for one another remains true and strong.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Orbuculum Pearl once lived with others of her kind. But when dragon poachers attacked her clan with the intention of harvesting their mystical pearls and selling them as crystal balls, she was separated from her sisters. To this day, she does not know if anyone else escaped from the poachers. In time, however, she crossed paths with Ficus Bough's dragon clan and soon settled in, forming a close friendship with Comettail Whiskers and Pythia Delphi. While Orbuculum Pearl genuinely cares for her new friends, she also hopes their abilities as seers can help her learn the fate of her former clan, and perhaps finally gain closure.
