Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very playful and likes to be around other dragons.
And look! It has grown wings, and its throat has turned red with small speckles on it. It must be close to maturing!
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

About the only thing that matches this tiny female's love of company is her hatred of being ignored. Should some snooty child or overblown adult ignore her babbling, she's quick to let them know she disapproves--usually by whacking them right in the nose with her powerful tail. This habit of hers has gotten her into no small amount of trouble, but personally she loves every second of it; being chased around and shrieked at is way more fun than being ignored, after all!
