It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Murasakihime is, to be put bluntly, a very proud (and perhaps even 'stuck-up') dragon. She looks down at most other species of dragons, scorning them for their lack of "regal colours" (i.e. purple and gold) as well as their crass behaviour. She also strangely never eats purple or yellow roses, believing that they are representative of her beauty, and often picks and arranges them around her 'den' to make it 'worthy of her status'. Despite her peculiar (and arguably awful) personality, she never seems to have a shortage of suitors, which only serves to inflate her already large ego. She has yet to be seen with any female dragon friends though, so perhaps having a proud exterior is actually her way of concealing her insecurities about this. On a random note, her favourite food is mimosa grass, probably since she is greatly amused by the concept of a plant trying to 'escape' being eaten.
