Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s brightly colored and chirps quite often.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Rosamunda is the daughter of pink dragon Rosis and water dragon Kwa, and has inherited traits from both her parents. Thus, she shows some of both Rosis's flares of temper and Kwa's friendly curiosity. She is a very active hatchling, and often gets herself into real adventures. When she is not spending her time exploring her surroundings she alternates between staying in her mother's cave and near her father's lake, where she often tries to make her half-brother Jordebarn leave his burrow to play with her.
