Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

While some might treasure diligence and hard work, this dragon prefers a... different sort of willpower. Not going out of her way to store up fat for winter, she hunts when she wishes and eats what interests her, often earning skeptical glances from others of her breed as she stays quite thin throughout the fall. But her cleverness reveals itself when winter comes--in a way that, unfortunately, no witness can ever admire. Staying awake when all the others of her breed are asleep, she seeks out and cannibalizes other harvest dragons, killing them with ease in their sleep and sating her own hunger on their overstuffed bodies. Anyone who knew of her murders would find them quite atrocious--but no one does know, and no one ever will.
