Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A timid animal, Wild Lightning Storm did not have great odds at being picked by the beta male, but when she was chosen to be his mate, her joy quickly turned to fear. Storm had not known Dragon Fire very well, she only knew about his strength in battle and his speed on the ground. But after he had chosen his mate, Dragon Fire began to be cruel toward Storm, who became more timid in the process. It was clear in his eyes that he felt he was too good for her, and openly tried to court the alpha female in front of her. Wild Lightning Storm looked towards MidnightLightning as a mother figure to get through each day, and often spent her time away from her mate, hiding with the hatchlings and her joyful friends, Blood Venom and Moon's Midnight Shadow.
