Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It skitters around in the shadows, seemingly repelled by light.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
It is a known fact that every Caligene dragon on Thundercrest uses the prefix Cally. Callusne, out of a sheer passive-aggressive attempt at rebellion, took the prefix and combined it with his own name rather than simply use it. From Cally Usne to Callusne.
As for Callusne himself, he is quick to anger and always passionate, and he is often pointed to as an unruly rebel and roughneck that should not be messed with, despite his young age. As Erpoh says, "That hatchling's a malcontent. He gets pumped up by rousing the other rabble, like that's hard. Nothing breeds faster than contempt, and that's what he's all about. Jealousy and contempt." He is a proud member of Nine's pack, though young and often left out of the fights.
