When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This is the story of a water dragon that does not live in the seas. When Master was just an egg still inside its mama, a huge vicious magi male swooped down and killed her, he left her body there to be pillaged by the local villagers, and the rest of her to rot. Two years passed and the time came for the baby to hatch. All went as normal, but the little dragon could not get out of the heap to take that important first breath. Nearby a female 16 year-old elf heard the tiny gasping for breath and she took her dagger and dug through the pile, saving the little male. Because Master was raised by humans he never got to go to the ocean and so remains in the rivers to this day, devoted to the young elf Jira.
