Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Olive Dragons are a small, forest-dwelling breed, rarely growing much larger than the average sheep. When alarmed, they can erect a long row of venomous spines on their back, serving to warn any potential predators that Olives are not a good choice for a meal. While not strong enough to kill anything larger than a small deer, their venom causes an extremely painful reaction and necrosis at the bite site, sometimes causing the flesh to rot and limbs to fall off.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
XD 001 was used as an experiment by some of the more mischievous hatchlings to see whether Olive dragons could, in fact, eat olives. They snuck some of the pieces of food into her food and hid in a bush nearby to find out....
As it turns out, olives are not just disliked by XD 001, but despised so much that she has decided that all olive trees, and everything that so much as likes olive, must be eradicated from the face of the Earth. She has also decided that she no longer wishes the breed to be known as an 'Olive Dragon' and that 'Mint Dragon' will do fine instead. The other dragons have tried their best to explain that that breed name is already taken, they've even shown her one, but XD 001 just laughs in their faces and mutters something about doves and olive branches before wandering off.... The other dragons have since decided that they'd be best to sympathise and leave XD 001 to hate olives in relative peace.
