Radiant Angel Dragons are known for their intuition—they always seem to know when someone is feeling down, and will do what they can to provide cheer. These dragons are curious and will poke their noses into anything. They communicate with one another by making sounds similar to singing. It is said that the golden feathers shed from their whiskers can rekindle lost feelings of love.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sarbineas and his brother, Kalocgurian, are powerful yet kind Radiant Angel dragons. While Kalocgurian is stern and disciplined, Sarbineas is more lighthearted and carefree, immediately taking to the Twister, Kiislyta, and developing a bond with her that would later lead to them mating. Sarbineas spends most of his time basking in the sun with Kiislyta, and to avoid confrontation with the resident Vampires, he retreats to his perch at night. More than once a scouting Nebula has attempted to get him involved, but like many capable dragons, Sarbineas is more concerned with the welfare of his growing family. Surely, if threatened, he will defend himself and his mate, but until such a time, he is content to simply guard and watch.
