Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Vulscar is a vampire dragon with an interesting curiosity in living things. If given, say, a small hatchling or tree, he will stare and ponder and ask it questions, as if expecting it to answer him, or give him a reason for it's existence. This curiosity has gotten him in trouble before, from asking another dragon, "Why are you so large" to opting to examine dangerous predators up close in the dead of night. He has little to no consideration for his own safety, given that his status as a member of the undead causes moderate injuries to heal, and causes him to be quite agile. He goes about his undeath with a bottomless pit in his stomach for knowledge of the way creatures behave, and life's small mysteries. Many are unwilling to be near him, not because they fear his bloodlust, but because he can be an "annoying mosquito" and a "no-manners-having fool."
