Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Annamieka is a newborn spirit, clumsily galloping through her early years just like her barren desert of a home. Sometimes, she may face certain aspects of herself sooner than her mind has prepared for them, but she may not always notice this herself. She is content with her life outwardly, and does not let the little fluctuations between good and bad bring her crashing down to a halt. However, on the other hand, just like any youngster discovering what they want in the world, she does pull through her fair share of hardships. Perhaps her past mistakes were not mistakes at all, but an attempt to escape pent up sorrow.
