Coastal Waverunners spend most of their time skimming the waves along the coast, snatching up their prey from the shallow waters. They have developed markings along the leading edges of their body that help disguise them as breaking waves. When they are not hunting, they enjoy playing among sand-dunes and shallow tide-pools. These dragons live in small but noisy rookeries. Some stories say Waverunners can fly for days on end without landing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A long time ago, Ripple lived peacefully by himself near where the water lapped up onto the pearly sand beaches of Galsreim. His life was relaxed and bliss, and he enjoyed his simple daily routine. But one night, while Ripple was in a deep sleep, a large dragon of unrecognizable species attacked the Waverunner. His fight or flight instincts kicked in, but, being the indecisive dragon he was, he wasn't entirely sure what to do, which allowed the unknown dragon to pummel Ripple into the ground. Ripple was out cold after the fight.

A few hours later, he awoke, only to find cold stone underneath his claws. He was in the cleft of a mountain, and around him multiple tunnels led deeper into the large stone pyramid. He stuck his head out of the cleft, seeing if he could find out where in Galsreim he was. But he soon admitted he was lost and lonely, so he reluctantly made the cleft his home. He also invited lots of lost, homeless dragons into his cave, hence making him the 'king'.
