Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cloud Niine. Ever since she arrived strange things have been happening in the clan. They can't seem to concentrate when she's near, and they keep getting a lot of odd ideas popping into their heads. They also find themselves obsessively daydream about what they want and wish for a lot. At first the clan didn't mind. After all the daydreams were pleasant. But when it began to interfere with the clans day to day functioning, and especially when it endangered the clans safety and well being they knew they had to do something about her presence. So they cast her out. Forbidding her to be near any of them. It was so sad when it happened. Still, a few of the dragons do dare break the clan law to stay away from her. Nevertheless she is a lonely dragon. Her own dreams are to one day be accepted and rejoin her clan. Until that happens she wanders clan territory alone and lonely, an outcast because of her effects on them.
