Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mystery is a resident of "The Palace of Scars". She is big prankster, and how she got inside the castle was one of her most amazing feats. Mystery evaded Swift Vanishing Mist's sites, dodged Shade of the Dark Ciff's boulders, and snuck into Blue Scars from Flames' room. Scars was impressed by Mystery's performance, and let her stay at the castle. Ever since she has been friends with Scars, and admired by all the dragons in the castle because she was never a threat, just tricky.
