Avatars of Destruction possess a volatile disposition. They thrive on chaos and decay, and their horns and plated scales are as hard as forged metal. Because of their affinity with darkness and the destructive forces of nature, it was once thought that these dragons were omens of ill fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

His egg was laid on an auspicious day, and some people speculate that this is the reason why this Avatar of Destruction has so far been a force for good instead of evil—although it is not entirely clear whether this is on purpose or by accident.

For instance, one day he flew into a rage and destroyed the dam above the village, which would have been a tragedy on any other day, but that particular day the village was attacked by marauders and nearly burned to the ground if the breaking dam hadn't washed away the attackers and their torches.

Another time he slaughtered all of the pigs in the village, which seemed like a misfortune until the dead animals were found to have carried a contagious disease.

And another time he hurled rocks at the village gate, blocking it so nobody could get in for two weeks, which just happened to be the time when the king's tax collectors showed up (and had to leave empty-handed).

Basically, he is either secretly nice or really bad at being destructive...
