Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

LemonGlint is one of three adopted sisters that were taken in by kind souls after being abandoned. Being in the middle, Lemon is often hanging around with their youngest sister, who she deems much more fascinating than their older and more responsible sibling. Lemon, herself, is a bouncy, hyperactive dragon that loves fishing and exploring—there have been many occasions when she has fallen into a bog, or nearly escaped a rabid bunch of Pygmy dragons, or even that time she ate mushrooms and had hallucinations for hours afterwards. She is what you call a 'difficult sibling': mischievous, constantly poking her nose into other dragon's business and being unable to sit still for one second, let alone a minute.

Arguably, her bond is deeper with her youngest sister due to their small age difference compared to that of their older counterpart. That, and younger ones tend to have more fun—plus there is a lack of responsibility, and with an older sibling comes the promise of being safe.
