Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mr. Stripey or Stripes as his clan nicknamed him is forever getting into fights with Kabutomushi. The two of them have an unparalleled rivalry going on. Mr. Stripey and Kabutomushi both love to eat bugs. They both hunt for them. Kabutomushi is the better of the two hunters since he is smaller and can sneak up on prey easier. This enrages Stripes to the point of violence. Stripey and Kabutomushi are ALWAYS fighting everywhere. The fights ALWAYS spill over to the area of the cave where the hatchlings and eggs are. The clan is always having to rescue a hatchling or egg from the fights. So they dislike Mr Stripey vehemently and long for the day he is banished from the clan for causing disruption. Until then they rescue the eggs and hatchlings and dislike Mr. Stripey intensely forever.
