This hatchling appears to be... dead?

Perhaps not. It seems to be active during the night.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Park Bead is probably the most willing dragon ever. She is ready for any challenge, and has almost gotten herself killed because of it when she fought with another hatchling. Of course, when she was just an egg, she also nearly died. Ever since, she has been willing to protect and care for anybody. Her size will never get in the way of her actions, she knows she is a strong individual who can fight. The only problem is sometimes she overestimates her power, and that's when other members of the clan try to help her get out in situations she gets in to. Otherwise this is an optimistic dragon, who will never give up.
