Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rose Dorkwed Lalonde is one of the ESTEEMED MEMBERS of the great DORKWED LINEAGE. She's a friend of another dragon, DAVE THUWED STRIDER, and considers him almost a brother to her. Most of the time, they just SNARK each other back and forth. IT JUST KEEPS HAPPENING.

She's extremely elegant and reserved, with a passion for OBSCURE LITERATURE most dragons have never heard of. Like some other dragons, she has a tendency to EMPHASIZE WORDS she believes are important. This is detrimental to her SECRETIVE PASSION for creative writing. She writes BAD WIZARD FANFICTION and hides it from everybody else. It's most likely that DAVE THUWED STRIDER knows about it, though.

Rose also has a bad habit of PSYCHOANALYZING any dragon she comes across, and comparing them to ELDRITCH BEASTS that, once again, no other dragons have heard of.

But her passion for CATS rises beyond anything out in her personality. If any dragon met her, the first thing they would notice is how much she loves CATS.
