Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. This strong, horse-like, vibrant purple dragon is one to fear. If anybody had to describe Grengoriar in one phrase, it would be "Tough girl." But this barely starts to scratch the surface of her personality. Aloof, cruel, distant, Greng is a bad girl if ever there was one. She enjoys hunting for the sport of it, and her great prowess as a warrior makes her formidable. She admires strong males, but looks upon love and general kindness as weak emotions. Slightly attracted to Mornyn, she often shows off before him by bringing down the best of game during the hunt. However, neither of them have committed to being mates, as they are at odds about Mornyn's personality in the morning.
