Frostbite Dragons first appear at the beginning of winter, creeping in with the frosts. They have found their place in human lore as the spirits of snow, since they only reveal themselves during icy weather. In the depths of winter, they cover the world in blankets of snow and are believed to be responsible for the glittering frost that creeps over everything. Although they appear cold and distant, they are actually rather mischievous and enjoy spending time dancing through blizzards.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Having been accidentally separated from his parents at a young age, this Frostbite dragon wandered on his own for quite a while and never encountered another of his kind until he came to live in his owner's cave. Because of this, and the fact that others only seemed to notice him in the wintertime, he used to consider himself a kind of 'invisible guardian' and imagine himself having grand adventures. Can often come off as sarcastic and somewhat of a jerk, but deep down he really cares about others and just doesn't like to show it. Sometimes on particularly clear nights, he can be found staring up at the moons, and when questioned as to why his answer is "Because they're my friends."
